A simply delicious way to replenish yourself after a week of excess.
Holistic cooking tip – most berries contain vitamins in high amounts that other fruits are low in and they are apparently very good for the libido. I always try to eat berries at least once a week but it’s easy to forget about them as they are not always in season.
In this recipe, I’ve used frozen to give my smoothie a nice thick texture and garnished the bowl with my leftover fresh berries from Christmas day.
Ingredients
1 Frozen banana
3/4 cup frozen berries
1 kiwi fruit
2 heaped teaspoons of coconut yogurt
A dash of coconut milk or milk of your choice
Flaked almonds and fruit to top
Method
blend in the food processor, scoop into a bowl, and top with your favorite fruit and nuts. 😋
